Placing an order with HEC books
Placing an order with HEC books is extremely easy. Unlike other websites your account is automatically created when you place your first order online. Once you have an account, you'll be able to:
- Check the status of your order status online
- Receive discount on online purchases
- See the history of items you've purchased
- Get updates on special offers, events, and new products and services
- Maintain a wish list.
Follow these simple steps to place your order.
Search for the items you would like to order. You can find the search boxes on nearly every page of our store. You will also find links so that you could browse from different categories to make your search easy, you can also do more detailed product-specific searches in the top navigation bar of each store. When you find an item that interests you, click the Image or button of the item to see the product detail page.
When you want to purchase a product click "Add to Cart" button which can be found on the item's product detail page. These buttons are located beside featured products, on search result and product pages. The number of times you will click "Add to Cart," the page will refresh and display the latest item in your Cart, as well as all the previous additions, items of interest, and links to "Update Quantity" and "Proceed to Checkout"
If you decide that you don't want to purchase a particular item right away, click the "save for later" button next to the title. The item will move from your current Shopping Cart to the "Saved Items--To Buy Later" list below.
When you're ready to place an order for everything in the Shopping Cart, click the proceed button. All customers are taken to our Checkout page, where returning customers can sign in to their accounts and new customers can complete their orders. As mentioned above you will be able to make an account automatically.
4. Billing and shipping address
You can provide a billing address for the order you are placing and ask for your email address so we can send you update on its order status. Please enable the check box Ship to a different address if your billing address is different from the shipping address. This feature enables you to send a gift to anyone. Once you enter the information you will be able to proceed by clicking the "Submit" button.
You can select your payment method from multiple options. We accept Visa, MasterCard, HEC books Gift Certificates, Bank draft and Pay order.
On the Review page you'll find a summary of your order, including the final cost. Before you submit your order, you'll also have the chance to change any of the payment information you've entered thus far. When you are ready, click "Submit" to complete the ordering process.

On the Payment page, select the card type you want to use and then enter your card number, expiration date, and, CVV2 (the card security code).
The Card Security Code is a 3- or 4-digit number printed on the back of your credit card. This number provides added security when you use your card on the Internet or over the phone. The number appears only on the card itself, not on receipts or statements. We ask for the security code when you enter your payment information. This helps ensure that anyone placing an order with HEC books has the card in his or her possession and is not using a stolen credit card number.
You can find this number on the back of your card it has 4 digits, followed by the 3-digit CSC.
If you'd like to pay by pay order, Bank draft & Cheque, choose this option in the payment method page and send us a bank Draft, Pay order or Personal Cheque order in Pak Rupees for the total amount of your order (including delivery charges, if applicable).
The Bank draft / Pay order should be payable to “HEC books” and should be denominated in Pak rupees to ensure exact payment. Remember to write your e-mail address clearly on the back of your payment to help us to process your order more efficiently.
Paying by cheque slows down your order as we don't process your order until we receive your cheque, and we don't send the items to you until your funds clear.
Your order will be processed once we've received your payment.
Note: If we do not receive payment within 15 days your order will be canceled.
Online Gift Certificates may be purchased at HEC books and are only redeemable online. These Gift Certificates are sent with in seconds after your order is placed.
Browse our site to find the items you wish to buy and add them to your Cart. On the Cart page, to proceed click “Checkout". Select the Gift Certificate on the Payment method Page click continue.
Enter the Gift Certificate number on the invoice detail page. If the balance available on your Gift Certificate is less than the total cost of your order, you can pay the rest through your credit card information or select other payment options.
Currently we ship our products only around Pakistan, using a variety of shipping options and delivery methods.
